“Und die Läufer gingen hin mit den Briefen von der Hand des Königs und seiner Obersten durch ganz Israel und Juda nach dem Befehl des Königs und sprachen: Ihr Kinder Israel, bekehrt euch zu dem HERRN, dem Gott Abrahams, Isaaks und Israels, so wird er sich kehren zu den Entronnenen, die noch übrig unter euch sind aus der Hand der Könige von Assyrien.”

“So the couriers went with the letters from the king and his princes throughout all Israel and Judah, and according to the commandment of the king, saying, "You children of Israel, turn again to Yahweh, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, that he may return to the remnant that have escaped of you out of the hand of the kings of Assyria.”
