“"Maar natuurlijk", antwoordde koning Josafat. "Ik zal u op alle mogelijke manieren helpen. Mijn troepen staan tot uw beschikking. Maar laten wij dit van tevoren wel met de HERE overleggen." Koning Achab ontbood 400 van zijn heidense priesters en vroeg hun: "Moeten wij Ramoth in Gilead de oorlog verklaren of niet?" En zij antwoordden: "Dat moet u beslist doen, want God zal u een grote overwinning geven."”
