“Da sprach Pilatus zu ihm: So bist du dennoch ein König? Jesus antwortete: Du sagst es, ich bin ein König. Ich bin dazu geboren und in die Welt gekommen, daß ich für die Wahrheit zeugen soll. Wer aus der Wahrheit ist, der höret meine Stimme.”

“Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.”

“Entonces Pilato le dijo: --¿Así que tú eres rey? Jesús respondió: --Tú dices que soy rey. Para esto yo he nacido y para esto he venido al mundo: para dar testimonio a la verdad. Todo aquel que es de la verdad oye mi voz”
