“Aber das Volk im Lande, so vor den HERRN kommt auf die hohen Feste und zum Tor gegen Mitternacht hineingeht, anzubeten, das soll durch das Tor gegen Mittag wieder herausgehen; und welche zum Tor gegen Mittag hineingehen, die sollen zum Tor gegen Mitternacht wieder herausgehen; und sollen nicht wieder zu dem Tor hinausgehen, dadurch sie hinein sind gegangen, sondern stracks vor sich hinausgehen.”

“But when the people of the land shall come before Yahweh in the appointed feasts, he who enters by the way of the north gate to worship shall go forth by the way of the south gate; and he who enters by the way of the south gate shall go forth by the way of the north gate: he shall not return by the way of the gate by which he came in, but shall go forth straight before him.”

“Mais lorsque le peuple du pays se présentera devant l`Éternel, aux solennités, celui qui entrera par la porte septentrionale pour se prosterner sortira par la porte méridionale, et celui qui entrera par la porte méridionale sortira par la porte septentrionale; on ne devra pas s`en retourner par la porte par laquelle on sera entré, mais on sortira par celle qui lui est opposée.”
